The anime Witch Hunter Robin originally aired in Japan, running from July 2002 to December 2002. The series later aired on American [adult swim] in 2003 and Canadian YTV in 2004. It was a moderately successful show set in a futuristic Tokyo where witches who threaten humanity are subsequently "hunted" by an enigmatic and secretive international organization called SOLOMON.

The storyline follows a 15 year-old girl named (surprise) Robin Sena, raised in Italy and recently returned to Japan, her country of origin. Robin is a special breed of hunter, a SOLOMON agent who uses the craft of fire to take down witches. Her new teammates are less than thrilled with her arrival and leery of her powerful craft, especially her partner Amon. As the show progresses, the similarities between so-called "craft users" and witches is troubling and leads Robin down a dangerous path to understanding both her past and role in the future of witches.

Prince of the Narwhals began as a modest storehouse for fanfiction and Winamp skins. As time progressed, additional sections were added. The name of the site is in reference to an early fanfiction parody of the WHR anime series, entitled The Dark(er) Half

POTN has undergone one server switch (higher bandwith and amazing amount of space) and at least three major redesigns (sucky layouts) in its three year history. This is currently the fourth incarnation for the site.

There have been some issues with the Winamp Classic skins not downloading properly. I have put into place a temporary solution which will allow visitors to download the skins until I can work out what is wrong. If this continues to be a problem, I may have to switch the skins back to a ZIP extension so I can resume using a download counter.
